Members of the VHP–Bajrang Dal, led by Naresh Uniyal, forcibly locked a clothing shop owned by a Muslim youth, accusing the vendor of selling clothes and mattress materials allegedly sourced from the belongings of deceased Hindus. Uniyal claimed this constituted a form of “jihad” and alleged that such practices are spreading across the region.
