Authorities carried out a demolition drive in Piran Kaliyar, Haridwar, including a mazar, claiming them to be encroachments on land belonging to the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department. They also targeted nearly two dozen temporary tin sheds, and other alleged unauthorized shops along Dargah Gablishah Road.
