At an AHP-Rashtriya Bajrang Dal meeting, founder and president Pravin Togadia glorified the Ram Mandir movement, the demolition of the Babri mosque, and the issuing of threats of violence against those who opposed it in the past. He fearmongered over an alleged decline in the Hindu population, claiming that Hindus are safe only when they are in the majority. He asserted that they would maintain a Hindu majority either “by law or by using force.” He demanded the expulsion of what he termed “3 crore Bangladeshis” living in India. He also urged Hindus to buy from and provide employment only to Hindus.
