During a public meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi labeled those he termed “ghuspaithiya” (illegal infiltrators) as a threat to national security, accusing the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of shielding them for vote-bank politics. He alleged that the TMC government provided protection, facilities, and even organised demonstrations to defend these individuals, claiming they were backed by an ecosystem that generated fake identity documents to help them settle in India. He asserted that such “infiltrators” must be identified and deported.
