During an event organised for the “Awaaz Suno Pahadon Ki” Film Festival 2026 by Sharda Swar Sangam, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami invoked the “love jihad” and religious conversion narrative, alleging that women’s lives are being destroyed through a “suniyojit shariyantra” (well-planned conspiracy). Citing The Kerala Story, he claimed such films reveal the “reality” of these alleged conspiracies.
