VHP–Bajrang Dal members, led by Gautam Ravriya, pressured police officials to summon a Muslim man who had eloped with a Hindu woman, threatening to stage a dharna if the couple was not produced before them. Ravriya openly stated that he did not care about the police’s legal procedures or formalities.
