Hindu nationalist leader Gaurav Singh Rajput, speaking at a Virat Hindu Sammelan, delivered an anti-Muslim speech in which he used derogatory slurs such as “katua” and “jihadi pigs” for Muslims. He urged Hindus to chant “Jai Shri Ram” loudly so that it would reach the ears of the “jihadis.” He alleged that Muslims were preparing for “Ghazwa-e-Hind” and falsely claimed that 32,000 AK-47 rifles and 3,000 pistols had been recovered from a madrasa. He called for preparation for “Bhagwa-e-Hind” and urged attendees to arm themselves. He further claimed that several Muslim-owned shops operated on the road, questioned who had rented them out, and asked participants to have them vacated. He also promoted the conspiracy theory of “love jihad.”
