At Kattar Hindu Sammelan, Aangs Kaid Pathak, chief of the Sanatani Veer Hindusena, delivered a dangerous speech calling for violence against “Miya” hawkers and street vendors, urging Hindus to assault them and declaring he would provide financial assistance to fight their cases in court. He claimed he only thought about suppressing and killing those he accused of committing atrocities against Hindus. He also peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” called on Hindu women to arm themselves, and said he would provide weapons to Hindu youth. Another speaker Monikan Das, introduced as someone who “holds Miyas by the nose” and had destroyed several “Miyas,” called for cutting all ties with them, claiming they were only focused on eloping with Hindu women through “love jihad.”
