In Haridwar, CM Dhami Repeats ‘Love Jihad’ and ‘Land Jihad’ Claims

Location: Haridwar, Uttarakhand

At the “Chief Sevak Jan Chaupal” programme in Kangdi, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the implementation of laws against religious conversion, “love jihad,” “thook jihad,” and “land jihad,” alleging that the Opposition resists these measures due to appeasement and vote-bank politics. He claimed action against alleged “land jihad” had “freed” over 12,000 acres of government land from “encroachment.” Dhami also referred to the dissolution of the Madrasa Board and restrictions on prescribed curricula, asserting that education should serve nation-building rather than promote a “radical, hateful and tribal mindset,” and alleged that the Opposition opposes these steps for electoral considerations.
