During the Virat Hindu Sammelan, Sanjay alias Vikrant Veer, State Provincial Publicity Head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), alleged that Sanatan has existed since the beginning of time, when there was no Isa, Musa, or Mohammad. He peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” alleging that movies play a role in influencing Hindu women. He made derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ, and targeted those who allegedly converted to Christianity. He criticised Muslim businesses, who he claimed were allegedly using Hindu names, and demanded that they should all become Hindu. He also questioned Hindu women who believe Muslims to be their brothers, alleging that “demons” still exist in the form of those who spit in food, eat beef, and target Hindu women. He further criticised Hindu women for sending their children to English-medium schools.
