A 28-year-old Muslim truck driver, Aamir, was killed in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, with his family alleging that cow vigilantes linked to the Bajrang Dal shot him dead. Police initially denied that he was shot, claiming he was among alleged cow smugglers who were pelting stones and that he died after being hit by a stone. His family, however, maintains that he was shot in the head.
