The uncle of accused Raza Memon has alleged that the ongoing Nashik case involving employees of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is “scripted” and part of a larger conspiracy, claiming that Hindutva groups were involved.

Speaking to the media, Razak Kazi said, “All the families are troubled. Everything is happening as per a conspiracy… The Bajrang Dal are involved in this… The girl’s family called Bajrang Dal… One person was left after the investigation and then he was arrested again by the police… Everything that happened was scripted.”

Kazi further claimed that the case had been expanded beyond its initial scope and that multiple families were being affected. His remarks come amid allegations by some relatives of the accused that the investigation has unfairly implicated individuals not directly connected to the original complaint.

Nashik city police have registered nine FIRs against employees of a BPO unit of TCS, involving allegations ranging from sexual harassment and intimidation to claims of religious coercion and conversion.

According to police, the action is based on independent complaints that suggest a pattern of misconduct. Several employees have been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal have called for a protest on Friday, April 17, near the Veer Savarkar statue at Kacheguda crossroads. The groups have said the demonstration is against what they describe as “corporate jihad,” “love jihad,” and “land jihad.”

These terms are used by some Hindu right-wing groups to allege conspiracies by Muslims against the Hindu community, claims that have been widely disputed.

The case has so far led to the arrest of multiple employees, including six staff members and an assistant general manager, while another accused individual is reported to be absconding. All the accused employees have been suspended by the company.

Reports citing family members of the accused suggest that the case may have originated from a personal relationship dispute. According to The Indian Express, the wife of one of the accused said the situation stemmed from a “relationship gone wrong” between one of the employees and a complainant, which she claimed escalated into multiple cases affecting others.
