During a Virat Hindu Sammelan organised by Sakal Hindu Samaj, far-right influencer Harshu Thakur delivered an anti-Muslim hate speech, called Muslims “jihadi pigs,” used the anti-Muslim slur “landa,” and called for violence against them. He spread multiple conspiracy theories, including “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “thook jihad,” “spit jihad,” “urine jihad,” “vote jihad,” “railway track jihad,” “drugs jihad,” and “Bollywood jihad”; demonized Muslims for eating beef, and called for an economic boycott of Muslims.
