VHP–Bajrang Dal member Nishant Tyagi invoked the death of Tarun Butolia during a Holi clash and the death of cow vigilante Farsa Wale Baba in a truck accident to demonise Muslims, referring to them as “rakshas” and “suar.” He fearmongered about an alleged decline in the Hindu population, claiming Hindus have declined in nine states, and asserted that people turn to Bajrang Dal whenever incidents involving their women occur.
