Pravin Togadia, founder and president of Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, speaking at a Ram Navami event, glorified the construction of the Ram Mandir and boasted of threatening violence against its opponents, declaring, “we will step on their chests, crush them and build the temple.” He called for the “reclamation” of disputed sites in Varanasi and Mathura, raising the slogan, “Ayodhya, Mathura, Vishwanath—we will take all three at once; Ayodhya is now ours, it is time for Kashi and Mathura.”
