At a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workshop, BJP leader and former RSS pracharak Sunil Deodhar delivered an anti-Christian and anti-Muslim speech, claiming that, according to Christians, women were created for entertainment, and that Muslims consider women as witches who make men lose their sense of judgment and therefore need to be covered. He claimed that Muslims were frustrated because they could not convert all Hindus despite ruling for 500–600 years, calling it the “frustration of Islam.” He opposed the slogan “Ishwar-Allah are one,” saying that Allah is presented as the only true God, while claiming that Hindus are more accommodating of other faiths.
