BJP MP and Union Minister of State for Education Sukanta Majumdar, speaking at a Ram Navami event, claimed that living in the region had become difficult as “supporters of Babur” had increased more than “supporters of Ram.” He urged Hindus to step forward in large numbers with lathis if even one Hindu was troubled by non-Hindus.
