During a Hanuman Janmotsav Shobha Yatra organised by Vishva Hindu Parishad–Bajrang Dal, Manoj Parmar, National President of Akhil Bharatiya Balai Mahasangh, fearmongered about the declining Hindu population, claiming that in a democracy the majority rules. He cited Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Kashmir Valley as examples where Hindus became a minority and urged attendees to increase the population. He contrasted the “Hum do, hamare do” campaign with claims that others follow “hum paanch, hamare pichattar,” adding that “some hold bricks, others stones,” and warned Hindus would have nowhere to go to save themselves.
