During a Shobha Yatra organised by Vishva Hindu Parishad–Bajrang Dal on the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav, leader Sushil Sudele alleged that there are localities where Hindus are not allowed to take out religious processions. He claimed, “this is not Pakistan but India,” asserting that the procession was carried out regardless. He criticised those who refer to “saffron terrorism,” stating, “the day a Hindu becomes a terrorist, only Hindus will survive in the whole world and no one else.” He invoked Hindu mythological and historical figures, comparing “saffron” to weapons and warning that anyone who comes near it would be “reduced to ash.”
