Yuvi Lather, head of the Nandini Gaushala Foundation, Rohtak, while speaking at an event on cow welfare, claimed that he had taken an oath not to wear footwear until hospitals were opened at every cow shelter and the Hanuman Chalisa was played at every mosque. Vicky Dudhwa, one of the organisers of the event, immediately opposed him, stating that he believes in communal harmony and threatening to cancel the event, forcing Yuvi Lather to apologise for the statement.
