BJP National President Nitin Nabin, speaking at an election campaign, referred to those excluded from the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) as “Bangladeshi ghuspaithiya (infiltrators)” and accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of supporting them, calling her their leader. He also alleged a “demographic shift,” accusing the opposition of surrendering land that “rightfully belongs” to the local population to “Bangladeshi ghuspaith.” He further declared that, if his party comes to power, they would remove the alleged infiltrators.
