During a Parashuram Jayanti event, far-right influencer Kajal Shingala, also known as Kajal Hindusthani, alleged a demographic threat, warning that Hindus face an existential crisis. She cited the fleeing of Kashmiri Hindus and Bengali businessmen, and asserted that India could be turned into an “Islamic State by 2047.” She further alleged that Hindus have become a minority in 13 states, claiming “outsiders” are encroaching on land. She referenced Partition, stating “we gave them Pakistan” but now face “mini-Pakistans” within India. She alleged that Hindu religious processions require permission while Muslims impose restrictions, invoked slogans such as “lad ke liya Pakistan, has ke lenge Hindustan,” and questioned why Hindus must listen to azaan, asking “what kind of Hindu Rashtra is this?” She cited the Godhra train burning and alleged organised Muslim involvement, portraying Muslims as inherent “enemies” and questioning how they could be considered “brothers.” She invoked historical figures such as Vasco da Gama and Bakhtiyar Khalji, alleging the destruction of institutions like Nalanda, and characterised Muslims as perpetrators of violence and abduction. She peddled conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” claiming that Muslim men systematically target, exploit, rape, and blackmail Hindu women, and alleged that such individuals go unpunished. Using mythological imagery such as Mahishasura, she invoked figures like Babar and Aurangzeb to frame Muslims as a continuing threat, and claimed that Hindu women are being exploited and sold. She called for awareness and resistance against “love jihad” and “corporate jihad,” portraying these as coordinated threats, including in workplace environments. She cited controversies involving companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, and Lenskart, and alleged that “Mughals have not left” and continue to exist within Indian society.
