During the launch of a BJP district training class, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami promoted anti-Muslim conspiracy theories including “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “thook jihad,” and “mazar jihad,” claiming that his government has acted against such “anti-national” activities, including through measures targeting religious conversion. He further claimed that over 12,000 acres of government land had been “freed” from alleged illegal encroachment and highlighted “Operation Kalnemi” as a campaign against individuals allegedly defaming Sanatan Dharma. He also referred to “ghuspaith” (infiltration) and alleged “appeasement politics” in West Bengal, while presenting measures such as the abrogation of Article 370, abolition of triple talaq, implementation of the CAA and Waqf Amendment, and construction of the Ram Mandir as actions against “vote-bank politics.”
