Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members staged a protest rally against “love jihad” at the Nepal border, where BJP leader Prem Jaiswal promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory, claiming that Muslim men trap Hindu women and elope with them. Participants also raised slogans calling for “love jihadis” to be beaten with shoes.
