VHP-Bajrang Dal members gathered at a Christian gathering at a rented guest house, alleging that Hindu children, women, and elderly people had been invited there for Christian preaching and religious conversion. They verbally harassed the attendees, warned that religious conversion would not be permitted in the “new Bengal,” referring to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s stated stance against religious conversions in the state.
