VHP-Bajrang Dal members assaulted a Muslim man after checking his Aadhaar card while he was visiting the Mahakal Temple with a Hindu girl and wearing chandan on his forehead. The victim was reportedly in Ujjain for sightseeing. Police officials stated that he was later handed over to them and that an investigation had been initiated against him.
