At a Virat Hindu Sammelan organised by the Shiv Chhatrapati Hindu Jagaran Samiti, two far-right speakers claimed that Malanggad was a Hindu temple rather than a dargah, called for the site to be “freed,” fearmongered about an alleged “Ghazwa-e-Hind,” spread the conspiracy of “love jihad,” and falsely claimed that the Kerala High Court had confirmed it. The second speaker referred to Muslims as “mlechh” and “vidharmis” and called for their social and economic boycott.
