Bangiya Hindu Jagaran Manch members harassed an interfaith couple in a live-in relationship, accusing the Muslim man of indulging in “love jihad.” The members physically heckled the couple, demanded the man’s identity documents, questioned which religion their future child would follow, and told the woman that the man would remarry as a Muslim, asking how she would feel if that happened. They warned the man to immediately vacate both the locality and his residence, while publicly shaming the woman.
