Members of the transgender (Kinnar) community, led by Sanatani Kinnar Akhada leader Ranjita Sinha, staged a rally demanding the identification and deportation of individuals they alleged were Bangladeshi and Rohingya Kinnars living in the region illegally. The protesters expressed support for the implementation of the CAA and NRC, called for the “pushback” of alleged undocumented migrants, and claimed that their presence was affecting local livelihoods and security within the community.
