During an Akhand Bharat Sankalp Diwas event by VHP-Bajrang Dal, speaker Sushil claimed that when people say “British”, they hide the cruelty and subjugation of “Christians”. He asserted that the Mughals did not destroy temples, murder Hindus or r*pe Hindu women, but “Muslims” did, claiming that the term “Mughal” is used to hide the cruelty of Muslims. He targeted Muslims who did not leave during Partition, questioning them why they committed atrocities against Hindus, s*xually assaulted Hindu women and voted in favour of an Islamic state if they did not want to leave. He claimed that Muslims had declared, “Pakistan was taken through struggle; we will take Hindustan with a smile,” and claimed that more than 500 “Pakistans” have been formed inside India.
