Hindu Yuva Vahini members, led by former MLA Raghvendra Pratap Singh and BJP leader Dharmraj Verma, protested against Muslims entering India from Nepal, raising the slogan “Nepali Muslim ghuspaithiya (infiltrators), stop coming to India.” Singh credited Yogi Adityanath with stopping the construction of alleged “illegal” madrasas and mosques along the India–Nepal border and warned that any such construction would be stopped, threatening action against officials who allowed it. Verma alleged that “jihadis” were infiltrating India from Nepal, claiming that wherever Muslims are a majority, they take over Hindu homes, shops, and livelihoods and kidnap Hindu daughters. He praised Singh for demolishing mazaars and restricting mosque construction in Domariaganj, claiming the area had been “mini Pakistan” but was now “real Hindustan.”
