During an event, Hindu nationalist singer Kanhiya Mittal demanded an end to cow slaughter and accused people living and benefiting from India’s resources of acting like the “descendants of Aurangzeb,” mourning Khamenei’s death, and refusing to chant “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” He alleged that “descendants of Babur, Dabur, Gajar” have corrupted devotional music and urged “true Sanatanis” to stop visiting mazars. He asserted that hoisting a saffron (“Bhagwa”) flag symbolises protection from evil and victory, and claimed that a flag on a house signals to any “Abdul” passing by that it belongs to those who “planted” it “deep into Babur’s chest” and built the Ram Mandir. He claimed Pakistani and Bangladeshi “ghuspaithiya” (infiltrators) target Hindu women and destroy Hindu homes, and urged Aadhaar-based identity verification before befriending them. He called on women to “be like Durga, be like Kali, but never be burqewali.” He criticised an MLA in Bengal who wanted to rebuild the Babri Masjid, claiming that “Babur’s soul” had crossed into Bangladesh and questioning what mosque he could now build in India.
