Authorities demolished a mazar (shrine), alleging it was an illegal construction on government land. The action was carried out by the revenue department under police deployment, following a complaint by Durgesh Srivastava, district president of AHP-Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, who claimed an eviction order had been issued by the Deputy Commissioner in March 2025.
