VHP-Bajrang Dal members intervened at a Christian gathering inside a Hindu household in Ramanagar village, alleging that religious conversions were being carried out and stating that such activities would not be allowed in the Hindu locality. They told attendees that those who converted to Christianity should give up government welfare benefits, claiming that these schemes should not fund converts. The members also targeted women attendees, telling them they should remove their shakha-pola(hindu marital symbols) if they wished to become Christian and shaming them for referring to Jesus as “Swami.”
