In Dehradun, VHP-Bajrang Dal Leader Calls Muslims “Bloodthirsty”

Location: Patel Nagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

At Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Sthapna Diwas, VHP-Bajrang Dal leader Vikas Verma invoked the Partition, referred to Muslims as a “bloodthirsty community” and criticised politicians for promoting communal brotherhood with Muslims. He claimed that “mini Pakistans” had emerged at every kilometre, with a mentality that considers Hindus “kaffirs” and Hindu women as “objects.” He urged temple priests to ensure that Hindu women were safe from “vidharmis” and that Christian missionaries did not convert them through inducements. He claimed that “demons” continue to exist in society with rights and power, urging Hindus to rise like Krishna and “kill” these “demons.” He further claimed that thousands of villages had become “Hindu-less” and that non-Hindus had settled there, alleging that Christian missionaries were entering villages while Muslims were constructing mosques and offering namaz in large numbers to instill fear among Hindus.
