During a ‘Savarna Mahapanchayat’ organised by Savarna Shakti Organization, Kali Sena founder Swami Anand Swaroop called Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Uniform Civil Code (UCC) “unconstitutional,” alleging that it legitimises “love jihad” by allowing interfaith and multiple marriages as long as they are registered. He claimed that even marriages involving “love jihad” or a Hindu daughter being abducted and married would be permitted if registered, and called on people to “cut” the UCC entirely and oppose it as much as possible.
