BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar delivered a dangerous speech urging Hindu youths to “cut the throats” of Muslims who even touched a cow, while referring to Muslims as “jihadi.” He asserted that the “Gurjar” name is coined for “killing jihadis,” declaring that anyone who troubles Hindu daughters, Gurjars will cut their throats or get their own throats cut to save the girl. During the Mahapanchayat in support of Nandkishore Gurjar, amid an internal party rivalry arising from social media influencer Haji Salman’s video criticising poor infrastructure in the constituency and subsequent confrontations, Gurjar addressed Muslims as “jihadi pigs” and claimed that Hindus are descendants of Maharana Pratap, who entered their homes and killed them, and said that Muslims wear “non-manly” clothes like salwar and kurta. He claimed that he has the strength of lakhs of elephants with the audience’s blessings to uproot Muslims and throw them away. He declared that he would destroy and uproot Muslim houses and establish a temple in the land, claiming to be a soldier of Modi and Yogi. He claimed that the land belongs to Loni and not to “jihadis.” Hindu Raksha Dal leader Amit Prajapati warned that they are not afraid of the police and declared, “If we don’t wipe out your entire generations, then change our name.” He invoked an alleged attack on their members and claimed that he has been receiving calls from Pakistan, Portugal and Saudi Arabia threatening him. He declared that they would wipe out Haji Salman’s family until he falls to their feet to be accepted as a Sanatani. Another speaker called on Hindus to stand with them to “end all extremists” in the country and mobilise Hindus in villages.
