At a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) foundation day event, a speaker accused Muslim men of trapping Hindu women through “love jihad,” alleging that they use money and social media to pose as Hindus, marry Hindu women, and later force them to eat beef. He further accused Muslims of opposing Hindu religious practices and claimed that more than 3,000 temples had been demolished while Hindus had never interfered with Muslim worship. He also accused Western missionaries of carrying out mass conversions of Hindus in South India, claiming that conversions increased whenever Hindus were divided.
