At an event organised by Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, its president Pravin Togadia fearmongered about an alleged decline in the Hindu population, claiming Muslims and Christians were increasing while Hindus were on the verge of being wiped out in India. A far-right speaker also boasted that AHP–RBD had pressured police with 500 members to bring back a Hindu girl who had eloped with a Muslim man and urged greater participation in Trishul Deeksha programmes.
