BJP MLA Anil Parashar, speaking at a public event, delivered an anti-Muslim hate speech, claiming that “topi wale” would not let Hindus live in peace and that Hindus were able to live peacefully only because of Modi and Yogi. He claimed that Hindu women were previously unable to step out on the streets and that even animals were not safe, alleging that they were stolen and slaughtered. He glorified “bulldozer action” by Yogi Adityanatah, claiming that anyone who posed a challenge is be “taught a lesson” He also alleged that Muslims use the roads, ration and electricity provided by Hindus, yet continue to hate Hindus, refuse to vote for them, and vote only for Muslims.
