During a Ram Janmotsav event, Khetan Anoop, leader of Hindu Suraksha Seva Sangh, criticised those who live in India but do not say “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” and alleged that Hindus are being harassed (pratadit). He peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” claiming women are brainwashed and trapped, and urged vigilance by asking people to monitor who enters their streets, homes, and localities. He alleged that those who do not respect relationships, Hindu should not engage with them. He also urged religious conditioning of children, promoting teachings of Ram and Hanuman over “cartoons,” and framed cultural practices like dressing children as Santa as part of a larger conspiracy.
