At a Hindu Jan Akrosh Nished Morcha organised by Sakal Hindu Samaj, BJP MLA Gopichand Padalkar spread the conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “corporate jihad,” and “vote jihad,” claiming Muslim men target educated Hindu women and calling for stricter laws against these alleged forms of “jihad.” Far-right influencer Sangram Bapu Bhandare alleged that Muslims were trapping Hindu women as part of a coordinated conspiracy, repeatedly used the anti-Muslim slur “landa,” and claimed that “jihadis” were well-funded.
