Sri Ram Sena leader Sundresh Nargal, speaking at a religious event, alleged that “Bangladeshis” were roaming the area around the clock and engaging in illegal gas-cylinder refilling. He further claimed that Hindu leaders were being monitored, with their speeches recorded, and invoked the conspiracy theory of “love jihad”, adding that if action were taken against those he described as “Islamist jihadists,” there would be no need for such speeches.
