At a Sakal Hindu Samaj event, far-right influencer Harshu Thakur targeted Muslim women politicians, claiming that when elected they wear the hijab and when out of power they “dance half-naked.” She threatened that anyone who attempts to make Mumbra “green” would be buried in the ground like their forefathers, while police personnel present could be seen recording her statement on their phones and laughing along. She also referred to Muslims as the illegitimate children of Islamic invaders.
