Location: Chamoli, Uttarakhand

At the ‘Tribal Conference-2026’ organised by the Niti Mana Tribal Welfare Committee, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that his government was working to preserve the state’s cultural identity and social harmony. He highlighted the implementation of anti-conversion laws, citing Birsa Munda’s resistance to religious conversion as inspiration. He also promoted anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad,” asserting that strict action had been taken against what he described as a “mullawadi mentality.”
