Members of Hindu nationalist organisations raided a Christian prayer meeting over allegations of religious conversion. A speaker urged attendees to read the Gita, Ramayana, and Mahabharata, worship Hindu deities, and remain within the Hindu faith, asserting that Christianity would not be tolerated in India because it is a Hindu-majority country. As several attendees maintained that they had voluntarily embraced Christianity and had the constitutional right to practice their chosen religion, members of the group repeatedly rejected their claims, insisting that they remained Hindu regardless of how they identified.
