During a rally organised by the Hindu Rashtra Jagruti Sabha, T. Raja Singh, former Bharatiya Janata Party MLA, delivered an anti-Muslim hate speech, used slurs such as “mulla,” “katmulla,” and “puncturechaap,” spread the conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “thook jihad,” “land jihad,” and “CCTV jihad,” and promoted violence against Muslims. He praised police violence against Muslims, called for a population control law targeting Muslims, suggested using pigs to target Muslim localities, claimed Muslims are disloyal to India, and called for the demolition of Aurangzeb’s grave.
