Hindu nationalist leader Chakravarty Sulibele collectively targeted Muslims during a protest over a social media post featuring a Tipu Sultan cutout, accompanied by a song with lyrics claiming to be a Pakistani mujahedeen. He fearmongered over the Muslim population, accusing Muslims of practising “taqiyya” when they were smaller in number and of targeting Hindus after their population reached 20 percent. He also peddled the conspiracy theories of “land jihad” and “love jihad.” He further claimed that recent protests against the NEET paper leak were orchestrated by Christian missionaries and Muslim organisations to pressure the government over the new FCRA rules governing foreign donations. He urged Congress politicians to join their cause if they had “an ounce of Hindutva left,” warning that otherwise their private parts would be checked and that they would be killed for being Hindu regardless of their political affiliations.
