In Chitrakoot, VHP Leader Targets Muslims and Christian Missionaries

Location: Mau, Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh

At a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Sthapna Diwas event, VHP Chitrakoot Organising Secretary Vikas “Ayodhyavasi” claimed that Sanatan Dharma is the “supreme religion” contrasting Hindu worship of the Sun, Earth, Moon, wind and water with Islam and Christianity and challenging their followers to live without these elements. He claimed that Jesus Christ, Allah and Prophet Muhammad were originally Sanatan Hindus who became opposed to Hindus because of discrimination, and compared religious divisions to products being “cut” after leaving Brahma’s “factory.” He questioned whether Muslims would protect Hindu women if they could not protect their own, alleging that Muslims have an “agenda” against Hindus. He also contrasted Hindu and Muslim fertility and marriage patterns, claiming that “others” marry around 20 and have more generations within a century, asking who would prevail if 25 “others” were pitted against 10 Hindus. He urged Hindus to boycott Muslim-owned businesses, referring to them as “cruel, ungrateful traitors” and descendants of Babur and Akbar. He further claimed that Muslims whose ancestors left for Pakistan in 1947 because they opposed Hindu coexistence should have left India, and said those who remain must say “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” He distinguished figures such as Abdul Kalam, Rahim and Raskhan, whom he said were welcome in India, from Akbar, Aurangzeb and Babur, whom he said were not, and warned that those who refuse to say “Vande Mataram” would be dealt with “in the very language they comprehend,” saying this was no longer an era of “Gandhigiri.”
