Two Kashmiri youths, aged 18 and 17, selling shawls were brutally assaulted after a shopkeeper allegedly heard them speaking their native language and questioned their religious identity. After finding out that they were Kashmiri, the shopkeeper allegedly abused their religion and started assaulting them, along with other shopkeepers, using sticks and rods. The attack left the teenager with a fractured arm and serious head wounds. Dehradun Police arrested one suspect and register an FIR.
